Our Behavior & Training Center - A Great Place to Take a Dog Training Class! 

Our 1600 square foot climate controlled Obedience Training Center is the perfect place to exercise and train your dog. There are over 25 classes to choose from. Start with the basics and work your way up to more advanced classes! Head Start volunteer Carol and Skipper navigate their way around the agility course in featured photo.

Feline Forum
Wednesday, September 1

This montly workshop focuses on All Things Cat.  An open discussion to address concerns  regarding your cat's behavior and to gain a better understanding of our feline friends and their needs. Q&A format, very casual.  Fee is $5.00 per family.  Pre-registration is required by email to Byron or phone 401-846-8276 ext 104.   



Wagging Tails Preschool Story Hour

September 15th    10 am to 11 am

Join our humane educator, Lynne Mallonee for an hour of animal stories, crafts and songs for childen ages 3 to 5.  There is a $3 fee per child.  Please reserve a spot by contacting LynneM@PotterLeague.org

Our cats love to sleep on Kuranda cat beds, but we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed or a set of beds at a special wholesale price for another cat to sleep in comfort, please donate a Kuranda cat bed.

The Potter League for Animals is the first animal shelter in the United States and public building in Rhode Island to receive LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental States) Gold certification from the US Green Building Council for the energy efficient and high-performing design of our new animal care and education center
