Ewaso Lions Update 2014

Meet Shivani Bhalla, Founder and Executive Director of the Ewaso Lions as she returns to the Potter League to speak about the amazing programs she and her dedicated staff perform daily to save Kenya’s lion population.She will also discuss new initiatives for the project. Potter Pet University: Puppy & Kitten Care

Wednesday, October 15 
6:00 - 7:00 pm
Alletta Morris Education Center at the Potter League

With proper care, you can steer your puppy or kitten towards a long and healthy life. Join us to find out how to start off on the right paw with your new furry family member. Dr. O’Neal will go over basic care and common concerns and will leave plenty of time for Q&A.

Save the Date for the  Blessing of the Animals


Saturday, October 11 
1:00 pm
at the Potter League
Free and open to the public

People around the world celebrate the feast of St. Francis of Assisi in October by having their pets blessed in the spirit of this patron saint of animals and ecology. The public is welcome to bring their pets (dogs, cat, rabbits, etc.) to the Potter League on Saturday, October 11 at 1:00 pm. The brief ceremony will be officiated by The Reverend Susan Wrathall, Rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Warwick, and held outside but will be moved to the Potter League's training center in the case of inclement weather.

Fetching Friends Transport Program


Fetching Friends is a Potter League lifesaving program which transports animals from high volume/low adoption shelters to our facility in Rhode Island where adopters are eagerly awaiting their arrival.
