To many people in Rhode Island and neighboring states, the cost of quality veterinary care for their beloved pets is out of reach. Despite the efforts of many, elderly, disabled, or low-income pet owners are often left with nowhere to turn when their pets are in need of care, and sometimes have to surrender them. We believe that everyone deserves companionship and are here to help these underserved pet owners. Our clinics offers routine physical exams, vaccinations, and microchipping. Clinics are drop-in and do not require an appointment. These clinics exclusively serve the pets of eligible elderly, disabled, and low-income pet owners. All pet owners that are receiving assistance from a valid federal or state program will qualify and proof is required at the time of service.pen to the public. Click here for more information.

Attendees will learn about what information on labels is actually helpful to them in making a decision, what questions to ask to ask the manufacturer and veterinary staff about their pet's food, and how to know what is science rather than myth when it comes to pet food. Current "hot topics" such as grain-free, natural, and raw diets will also be discussed. Consider pre-registering by contacting Eleanor Hanson at 401.846.8276 ext. 120 or by email to
