Many of her pets were adopted from the Potter League\, and we’re proud to continue that tradition of compassion and care. \nSuggested donation: $5All proceeds benefit the Potter League for Animals and the Newport Restoration Foundation. \nAdvance registration is kindly requested here. Please note: All pets must be leashed and picked up after on the grounds. Her talk\, “Narratives to Inspire Our Best Work for Animals and People\, Together\,” explores how stories can strengthen the connections between human and animal well-being and inspire more compassionate communities. \nHanna has spent two decades advancing animal care and welfare across organizations including the Washington Humane Society\, MSPCA–Methuen\, and Farm Sanctuary. She has also led global programs with the International Fund for Animal Welfare and co-founded Impact by Design\, a consulting firm helping animal welfare and conservation organizations maximize their impact. \nThis event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.Walk-ins are warmly welcomed\, and RSVPs are appreciated to help us plan for seating. \nWe look forward to gathering with you for an evening of reflection\, connection\, and inspiration as we continue our shared mission of enriching lives and strengthening the bond between people and animals.

I Love You Pet Calendar Photo Contest. This beloved community fundraiser celebrates the pets we adore while supporting the Potter League’s life-saving work for animals and the people who love them. \nPet lovers are invited to submit a favorite photo of their furry (or feathered!) companion\, share a few words about what makes them special\, and rally friends and family to vote. With every entry and vote\, participants help fund vital programs including sheltering and adoptions\, veterinary care\, spay and neuter services\, behavior support\, education programs\, and community outreach. \nContest Details\n\nContest Dates: February 1 – March 2\, 2026 (voting closes at 5:00 p.m.)\nEntry Fee: $10 per photo\nHow to Enter: Submit a pet photo and a short description highlighting their personality and the bond you share\nVoting: People’s Choice voting\, with $1 per vote—supporters may vote as often as they like\n\nEnter Contest Here! \n\nPrizes\nThe top 12 vote-getters will be featured in the 2027 Potter League Pet Calendar\, including Pet of the Month placements and a professional photo shoot for each winning pet.
