Potter League is proud to be part of a community that shares the same commitment to care and love animals as we do. We are honored to put on a handful of major events throughout the year and lots of smaller events each month that connect us to the public and businesses that are willing to help us serve the needs of the animals in our community.

Our Signature Events keep the pulse of our organization beating, allowing us to support more homeless animals and vital outreach programs than we otherwise could. Our business sponsorships, volunteers, vendors, fundraisers, and promoters are all an essential part of this effort.

Heart & Sole Walk for Animals
Walk, run, be a Hero for the animals. Rhode Island’s largest pet walk and biggest party for pets and people aims to raise essential funds to support our lifesaving work. Join hundreds of animal lovers to celebrate the annual Heart & Sole Walk for Animals. We’ll walk/run with our dogs, enjoy music, food, contests and more. Everyone is welcome, with or without a furry friend. Walk. Run. Save Lives.
The Heart & Sole Walk for Animals is a beloved tradition for animal lovers to join together in creating a more humane Rhode Island for people and pets alike.
LoveBash for Animals
The annual LoveBash for Animals celebrates our shared compassion for animals in need. The celebration includes an exciting evening of great company, delicious food, cocktails, music and a dazzling live and silent auction, along with a little animal love with all proceeds to benefit the homeless animals at the Potter League.
But the true magic isn’t the auction or the event itself. It’s your generosity, which saves animal lives. Every year we invite you to celebrate the spirit of LoveBash for Animals that will help provide thousands of animals find hope, healing and the magic of second chances.
Yappy Hour
Each July the Potter League hosts Yappy Hour, an exclusive event in support of the Nuala Pell Animal Care Fund. This outdoor cocktail reception takes place at a private estate and attracts our summer residents and their guests with attendance of approximately 200. Individual tickets and tables are typically sold for this event.
