We believe every pet owner should have access to affordable services for their pets. That’s why the Potter League offers vaccine clinics. Our vaccine & microchip clinics make it convenient and affordable to help your pet stay healthy and happy.Â
The Potter League for Animals Veterinary Vaccine Clinics are offered to pet owners at discounted prices.
Important Reminders Before Coming to a Vaccine Clinic
Our vaccine clinics primarily serve cats and dogs, and we also offer rabies vaccinations for ferrets. For everyone’s safety, dogs must be on a leash, and cats and ferrets must be in secure carriers.
Unfortunately, transportation to the Potter League is the responsibility of the client. We do not offer any transportation at this time, however there is a RIPTA bus stop located on West Main Rd in front of Stop & Shop (on the street). We are approximately a 10 minute walk from there.
Yes—our vaccine clinics are open to everyone, regardless of where you live.
Your pet’s safety—and the safety of other pets, guests, and our staff—is very important to us. If your pet may be fearful, reactive, or uncomfortable in unfamiliar settings, please let a staff member know upon arrival so we can do our best to accommodate safely. Please note that we are unable to handle animals that are aggressive toward people.
Services may vary slightly by clinic, but our vaccine clinics typically offer:
Please check the specific clinic listing for available services and pricing.
Our vaccine clinics are held on scheduled dates and times, and while appointments are not required, we do encourage pre-registration whenever possible. Pre-registering helps our team plan accordingly and allows us to have your paperwork prepared in advance, making your visit quicker and easier. Walk-ins are welcome during the clinic’s hours.
If you have your pet’s vaccination history, especially a current rabies vaccination certificate, please bring it with you. Veterinary records alone are not accepted as proof of rabies vaccination. Without proof of current rabies vaccination, vaccines administered at the clinic will be valid for one year.
No. Our vaccine clinics are intended for preventive wellness services only, such as vaccinations and microchipping. If your pet is sick, injured, or experiencing a medical emergency, please contact your veterinarian.
There is no set limit to the number of pets you may bring, provided you are able to safely manage and handle them throughout your visit. All dogs must be on leash, and all cats and ferrets must be in secure carriers.
Yes—puppies and kittens are welcome, provided they are at least 12 weeks old at the time of the clinic.
Beyond adoption, there are many ways to help people and pets bring out the best in each other. A gift to the PLFA enables us to give second (and sometimes third or fourth) chances to deserving pets.
