COVID-19 Response and Information
The Potter League for Animals is still committed as ever to saving the lives of the animals in our care while also keeping public health and safety a top priority. We will update this page with any new developments; we appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this situation together with the communities we serve.

Strays and Surrenders
We will continue to receive pets from the municipalities we are contracted with as we always have and ask that surrenders are still done by appointments.
We are currently bringing back our current volunteer program and will be accepting new volunteers in July.
Due to challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision and will not be offering our 2021 Summer Camp Happy Tails program. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all in 2022!

How you can help:
We encourage all those interested in fostering an animal to please complete a foster application here. Please note, due to an overwhelming response, we do not need any additional volunteers or foster caregivers at this time, but we will post here if this changes. You can also donate to help the animals at the Potter League for Animals.
Consider donating items from our wish list. Our biggest need is dog & cat treats for the dogs. Any food donations would be graciously accepted for our Potter Pet Food Pantry.
We are also in need of financial contributions to help us care for the animals during this time. We are a local non-profit who relies on our community’s support to care for these animals. We receive no government funding, we have no umbrella organization overseeing us or providing us funding, and we are not associated with any other national or local humane society. We are 100% community funded and we need that support to continue during this time. Please consider making a donation to help us care for the animals during and after this time.
Our Animal Care & Adoption Center continues to operate with modified hours of operation from 10 am – 5 pm daily during this time to assist with any questions you might have. If you have questions, please email us at email@example.com or call us at 401-846-8276.
