The Pets In Need Veterinary Clinic exclusively serves the pets of eligible elderly, disabled, and low-income Rhode Islanders. Pet owners that are receiving assistance from a valid federal or state program listed below will qualify. Animals will be seen by appointment only and owners will need to bring documentation of qualification.
A valid Rhode Island ID must be presented at the time of appointment.
Unfortunately, pets whose owners cannot provide documentation of assistance will not be eligible for services. *Temporary disability and unemployment do not qualify.
All pets must be spayed or neutered with six (6) months of your first appointment at Pets in Need. Please note that PIN is not providing spay/neuter surgeries at this time, please contact our Spay & Neuter Clinic for spay/neuter inquires. Failure to comply with this policy will automatically disqualify you from receiving services at Pets in Need.
If you are in need of financial assistance to help pay for veterinary care at a veterinary clinic other than PIN Clinic, you may qualify for additional assistance. For information about financial assistance, please click HERE.
