The PIN Clinic does not have the luxury of billing clients. Our fees are significantly discounted and they must be paid in full at the time of service. In order for the clinic to remain open and to be fair to all our clients, all fees must be paid at time of service.
We try very hard to provide accurate estimates and every effort will be made to adhere to these estimates. However, if your bill is going to exceed the estimate, we will give you prior notification of this and will discuss it at length.
The Pets In Need Veterinary Clinic is not a free clinic, however, our fees are significantly discounted for those who qualify.
We have several veterinarians who see patients and it is not guaranteed that your pet will always see the same veterinarian.
If your eligibility status changes, standard fees will apply.
Pets In Need discounts are only available to Rhode Island pets. Standard pricing is available to out-of-state clients.
Unfortunately, we do not provide services for shelter or rescue groups.
If you can secure your pet in a carrier or on a leash, you are welcome to bring your pet into the building upon check-in. If you do not have a carrier or leash for your pet, please leave your pet in your car, and ask our front desk staff for assistance.
If your pet is aggressive towards other animals or people, please notify our staff when you ake your appointment and we will advise how we can best serve you. The safety of your pet, other clients, and patients is of the utmost importance to us.
Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your appointment. This will allow us to fill that appointment with a potentially ill pet that needs our attention.
Unfortunately, transportation to the clinic is the responsibility of the client. We do not offer any transportation services at this time. There is a RIPTA bus stop located at Wampanoag Trail FS Amaral, which is approximately a one-minute walk to the Clinic.
We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 am-5 pm. We are closed on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
