2024 Annual Meeting

Join us for the Annual Meeting of the Potter League for Animals on Thursday, January 25, from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at Newport Vineyards. This event will be an insightful year-end review and will feature a special presentation by the esteemed Dr. Gary Block.

Dr. Gary Block, a distinguished graduate of Cornell Veterinary School and a board-certified small animal veterinary internist, will be addressing a crucial topic during the meeting. His talk will delve into the challenges and solutions surrounding accessibility to veterinary services. As a passionate advocate for animal welfare, Dr. Block brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the discussion.

In addition to his impressive background, Dr. Block is the current President of the Evidence-Based Veterinary Medical Association and has held leadership positions in various veterinary organizations, including the Rhode Island Veterinary Medical Association and the Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association.

The event will not only offer valuable insights from Dr. Block but also provide a platform for networking and discussions about the Potter League’s endeavors. Light refreshments will be served.
