Dog’s Day Out at “Ruff” Point
Friday, August 9 | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Rough Point Museum, 680 Bellevue Ave, Newport, RI 02840
We’re joining paws with the Newport Restoration Foundation for the second annual Dog’s Day Out at “Ruff” Point—a celebration of pets, preservation, and the joy they bring!
Bring your leashed dog and enjoy:
Doris Duke, Rough Point’s legendary resident, was a lifelong animal lover who shared her homes with dogs, cats, and even camels. Many of her pets were adopted from the Potter League, and we’re proud to continue that tradition of compassion and care.
Suggested donation: $5
All proceeds benefit the Potter League for Animals and the Newport Restoration Foundation.
Advance registration is kindly requested here.
Please note: All pets must be leashed and picked up after on the grounds. Service dogs are welcome inside the museum, but pets are not permitted indoors.
